About the Book

This is a collection of poetry that projects hope. While the world has been and, still is, surrounded by political, military, and social discord, the enclosed poetry extracts peace through its use of words. Also, From War to When extracts beauty by combining texts with colorful drawings throughout these “80 pages of literary paradise on earth” as one reader so aptly described this publication. A reader is virtually transported from the strife of personal and global wars to a “when” of promised peace.

About the Author

HILARY GEORGE was born in Singapore of British parents. After fleeing the Japanese invasion early in World War II, Hilary, with her mother and sister, two tin trunks of possessions and five English pounds, found themselves refugees in a strange, new land—Australia.

Hilary became an accomplished executive assistant and married. For two years they worked as missionaries in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. During the past 34 years, the USA has been home for Hilary and her husband.
