MANA ENCOURAGES CREATIVE College Student WRITERS

As you know, getting one’s short story or poetry published by a reputable traditional publisher is difficult. Getting one’s short story or poetry published by a reputable self-publisher can be challenging because of cost. MarketingNewAuthors.com (MANA) is owned by a retired college English professor who wants to offer a solution. She knows that money is tight for college students. She hopes you will let your students, who demonstrate unmistakable talent as a short story writer or poet, about this publishing offer. So, her company, MANA, is offering an opportunity for talented writers attending college to have his/her work published with other talented writers:

1) Student submits 2 to 5 short stories/poems to be refereed by the MANA Review Board; the subject and genre are the writer’s choice;

2) If works are recommended to be published, then, the student pays a down payment of $100 to get the project underway. After the approval of each author of the final galley proof, the final $100 is expected to be paid before the printing of the book.

NOTE: By April 20, if a sufficient number of submissions is not received, every student’s down payment will be refunded except for $25. MANA will use the $25 to compensate referees for their time reading each submission and donate to the American Red Cross to aid those who have survived the California wild fires.

3) Everyone who has submitted his/her works will receive a royalty of $1 for every book sold via the MANA website.

4) The writer maintains copyright of his/her work.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF WORKS to info@marketingnewauthors.com : April 14, 2025

Why is the owner of MANA making this offer?

She knows just how much writers and poets want their works to be read. When teaching, she provided this opportunity to her students in a writing course she was teaching, the book’s title—Community College Students’ Literary Collage. Also, she owns a traditional publishing company, Robbie Dean Press (RDP). Then, RDP assumed all of the cost of the production and publishing of the work. The looks of wonderment and gratitude on her students’ faces when she gave each student his/her copy made such a project worthwhile. Some of those students’ writings are available to peruse on the blog of the  MANA website (see right side)—MarketingNewAuthors.biz
Well, the economics of the time do not allow for either of the owner’s companies to take on the total cost to publish. However, with the contribution of a collaboration of students paying a small amount, the dream of becoming a published writer/poet can come to fruition and the joy of having made such a dream come true will be experienced by the owner and staff of MANA!
