About the Author

Ms. Florence graduated from Western Michigan University Cum Laude. She earned this distinction upon receiving her Bachelors and Masters degrees. He bachelor’s is in Social Work. Her Master’s is in Rehabilitation Training. Ms. Florence has written several articles concerning deaf/blindness. Her thesis on continuous loops is published internationally in the AER Journal. Presently, Ms. Florence is an instructor at Mott Community College in Flint, MI. She is both hearing and visually impaired. Her writing combines academic theory, professional guidance, and actual application.
