About the Book
Beige Girl is a work about the development of a young lady who is the product of a loving Black mother and loving white father. She experiences many challenges growing up and as an adult. However, this work is not just a book about a young lady of an interracial marriage; it is a work for many Black women. It provides a clear comparison of how society treats the Beige male and female. It offers guidance as to how Black women, light-complexioned and dark-complexioned, need to support one another rather than let the influence of history control their behavior to one another. Beige Girl is the book for many women of color.
