Jeff Wheeler is a married father of four adult children. He is a retired veteran of the Flint Police Department where he served for 23 years. He has performed duties as a patrol man, dispatcher, instructor for the Flint Police Academy, community officer, and, for his final six years, a Resource Officer for Flint Community Schools, where he was a member of the Crisis Resource Team. After retirement, he became the owner and head instructor of Double Dragon Tang Soo Do Academy in Burton, MI, a traditional Korean Karate school where he emphasizes character, discipline, and education. Furthermore, Jeff Wheeler has attended the Full Gospel Christian Seminary where he obtained his License and Ordination to preach as well as a B.A. in Biblical Studies.
